Read this before you start

I am not writing a walkthrough. RPG Site, GameFAQs, and Game8 already walk the dungeons. This page is the short list I wish I had read before the first town: what kind of game this is, and which of our pages answers the next question.
Ten lines, then go play
- Single-player. The PS1 four-player battles are not in this version.
- The scenario is the PSP game. Expect 16:9 and no 4:3 toggle.
- English and Japanese voice. Eight other supported languages are text only. Details on languages.
- Graphics mode has Remastered and Original. Sprites do not swap with it.
- Grade Shop is open early. Unknown difficulty waits for a second play. Systems.
- Switch sticks snap diagonals. Use the D-pad. Status.
- HowLongToBeat has no remaster average yet. The original's 33 / 42 / 73.5 hours are historical references, not remaster measurements. Hours.
- Launch-week critic averages sat in the mid-70s. Scores.
- New English cast, and skits are voiced. Cast.
- Missables exist. I only list the time-sensitive ones. Trophies.
